Gratitude has made a huge impact on my self development journey! Mental health has you at your rock bottom and you can feel like you have nothing and no one. Mental health has you in its grips and wants to keep you there. To make you feel you have nothing left to live for. That there is no good left in your life.
I used to moan about everything and feel so trapped. I hated my house and the issues I had within it, I wanted a garden too. I hated my finances and lack of them and feeling trapped and like there was no way out of the situation, I hated that I hadn’t been able finish my uni degree in Law due to my mental health taking a nose dive. I had so much to be un – thankful for! I spent most my days thinking why me and moaning to others and myself about all what I didn’t have!

I then discovered gratitude and read about why I should be doing it and what it could do for me.

I now no longer only see what I don’t see, but even though my position is still the same, I feel as though I have so much more!
